Add conditioning to a single room

Mini-split units are great for adding conditioning to a previously unconditioned space, like a garage or new addition.

These units do not require ductwork and can give you room-by-room temperature control. Mitsubishi makes the best ductless mini-splits we've seen.

Do be aware, these heat pumps will have an indoor unit that is mounted on your wall, about 2ft below the ceiling. If you have central ducting, we suggest you try to utilize it before exploring ductless options.

Performance is estimated using 15-30 years of historical weather data. Figures shown represent an average year over that timeframe, based on hourly weather data and manufacturer-supplied performance ratings. Actual performance will inevitably vary in your home going forward, not only because equipment performance may differ but because we can't predict the weather! But we do hope this is a useful guide, and we believe in the numbers we're showing here.
